Porter Ranch, CA – The Los Angeles County Association of Probation Supervisors, SEIU 721, Bargaining Unit 720, have announced their endorsement of retired Deputy Sheriff Patrick Lee Gipson for State Assembly, District 40. Gipson is running against incumbent Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo.

In their endorsement of Gipson, the LA County Association of Probation Supervisors wrote, “Your accomplishments as a recently retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy shows us your vast experience protecting and serving the communities of Los Angeles County. Our Association recognizes your values, honesty, integrity, and commitment to public safety and the law enforcement community.”

Gipson has also earned the support of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs, the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), and the California Coalition of School Safety Professionals.
